The Positivity Prison

I love authentic positivity, it radiates from a person when they can truly see the silver lining in the storm when they can soar like an eagle through negative winds and rise from their ashes like a burning phoenix and a sovereign force to be reckoned with. However, over the past decade, there has been a growing trend in pop psychology and spirituality to bypass our own, and others feelings and emotions in a kind of eerie creepy version of positivity which is faker then Trump’s hair.

Instead of showing genuine care and compassion for our own emotional needs and the needs of others there is a growing trend to plaster over the cracks with positivity. Popular memes such as “good vibes only” or “no drama llama” are now used as an instant way for people to divert from their own concerns and the concerns of others. Where do these memes come from? Perhaps it’s the collective thinking or perhaps we are being herded into a positivity prison as a way of diverting us from unresolved trauma leaving us fragmented and fractured. An agenda to move us from humanness to instant positivity and constant happiness. Transforming ourselves out of the beautiful human messes we are into some weird Stepford Wives Society.

It’s everywhere you look its branded on clothing, it taught in schools and corporations now push like it’s their new cash cow. But why? Of course, good mental health is important and you could argue that having a positive mindset is helpful towards emotional balance. However authentic positivity can only be achieved by diving deep into our emotional inner world and piecing back those fragmented and fractured parts we are being herded away from. When someone is authentically positivity they can hold the space for a person’s humanness to arise as they can see the true beauty behind our vast emotional landscape within.

When people lack emotional intelligence and courage they often lock themselves into the positivity prison as a form of escapism and this escapism is leaking over into families, relationship and the workplace.

A while back I had to go back to my corporate job to pay for some expensive training I wanted to complete and to do some deep inner work myself. I took a position in a very well known evil company that poisons people with talcum power, I won’t say the name but it’s not difficult to guess who. This was possibly the worse job I’ve ever had but I was desperate at the time. Now this company is wickedly clever and injected the positivity poison into its company strategy and it was clear to see to anybody with an ounce of discernment that it was not for the benefit of its staff.

At the annual conference which was like a corporate circus performance, various borderline psychopathic leaders without a genuine caring bone in their bodies would relay and indoctrinate the staff with a “growth mindset”. Some of it I enjoyed but like many of these trickster movements, they are always truth mixed with lies.

The point to this story is that this strategy gave the board and the company a get out of jail card whilst they imprisoned their workforce with positivity. You couldn’t complain because it wasn’t a “growth mindset”, you couldn’t offer feedback that wasn’t positive because it wasn’t a “growth mindset” and their agenda of doing as they pleased could be rolled out under a shiny snake oil strategy.

I felt like an alien in that company surrounded by people that would agree to the unagreeable. Safe to say we mutually parted very quickly as my soul was not happy in the devil’s hands. For myself, once I’d had a taste of my purpose which I had before this company I became unemployable and the only contract I was willing to commit to is with my over-soul.

The example of this company is an example of how on a 3D level we are being ushered into more singularity everyone has to be the same, act the same, think the same and feel the same. No room for individuality which is what the divine creator created us for. Instead, a carbon copy of bland positive tribes filled with unhealed trauma feeding a matrix control system. The matrix feeds off unhealed trauma because unhealed trauma keeps you in a loop, keeps you in line, keeps you consuming, keeps you trapped in a job you hate, keeps you in co-dependent relationships you can’t escape and it keeps you from rising up into sovereign beings we were born to be.

I often hear “I’d love to be constantly happy and positive this sounds like heaven”. I would say to anyone who wants to lock themselves in this positivity prison to take a look at their favourite piece of art, their favourite song, book or poem. Most of these pieces are creative through the heart and it touches us. We feel it on a deep cellular level and in that moment when you connect to a piece of art you are connecting to someone vulnerabilities and heart which is the deepest connection we can have.

Why are we so eager to throw away our depth, our connection to humanness and essence for a whimsical fake agenda? Why do we want to avoid conflict and care for bypassing into thin air? Why settle for a meme as knowledge when you have an ocean inside? Why do we disconnect from the truth and wisdom of suffering? From the depth and love of our human hearts and our essence.

Just like nature, we are supposed to ebb and flow, to constrict and expand, die and blossom, grow and learn. We are supposed to have a human experience that is full of emotions, full of life, full of soul and full of spirit. To fall in love deeply with our hearts and the hearts of others. Not a whitewash of vacant people with empty hearts and no real concern or care for their fellow human. Because that’s what the “good vibes only” agenda is. It’s a way of spellbinding those who’s hearts we need with false white light.

We need to focus on the negative if things are to shift in this world. We are a human family and a family is supposed to care and look out for one another. Most fathers don’t allow their children to be bombed because it’s their “karma”. Most Mothers do not allow their children to be raped because their “soul called it in”. There is evil in this world and while we lock ourselves in the positivity prison it gets stronger and we get weaker.

Welcome home ALL of you…

Get mad, get sad, get angry because the world needs your emotion. Feel your hearts, feel others, feel it to it hurts if you need to. Just don’t lock yourself in a cage because you’re ashamed of your rage. Don’t whitewash your pain, because you’ll drive yourself insane. Don’t lose your heart because you’re broken and falling apart. Turn your dark into art. Care for those who have nobody and you’ll be a somebody. Welcome home your shame and blame.  Embrace your hate and all of your mistakes. Cherish your mess and you’ll be truly blessed.

I guess my point is just be a human mess not a clinical cyborg and we’ll sort out the rest. We’ll meet with our hearts instead of tearing each other apart. We’ll be honest without any promise and will be what we were born to be real, raw and a little bite sore.
